In short
- Where and when: Costa Rica, July 2024.
- Taught by Dr. Daniel Flash, founder of Sensory Energetics.
- Learned through experience: body awareness, Kyusho, qigong breath and partner work.
- Next steps: the 2026 calendar, the online Self-Ignition Programme, or a local practitioner.
The seminar in Costa Rica
In a country known worldwide for its nature and its slower pace of life, the seminar's focus on reconnecting with subtle sensations, the ones we lose in a busy life, felt especially natural.
Sensory Energetics is not learned by reading about the body. It is learned by feeling it.
What a Sensory Energetics seminar covers
Every seminar is built around direct experience. Participants learn in demonstrations, in pairs and in the group:
- Sensory awareness: noticing breath, tension and subtle sensations, and how the nervous system responds.
- Kyusho: working precisely with the body's vital points, a discipline Dr. Daniel has studied since he was 17.
- Qigong and breath: simple movements to feel and regulate energy.
- Contact and contactless work: partner techniques for releasing tension and supporting balance.
- Self-practice: tools to keep using at home after the weekend.
