This past weekend I was lucky to experience Joe Weston’s Respectful Confrontation workshop at the Heartwalker Studio. I highly recommend the class to all you men out there wanting to learn about how we move through the world. An old couples counseling principle is that the true measure of strength in a relationship is not how much we love but how we fight. In this workshop we learned that strength, flexibility, focus and grounded-ness are all of equal importance – I challenge you to look at where you are strong or weak on these 4 aspects. OK, so the Den of Iniquity was all that and so much more over the long Memorial Day holiday weekend. Sure it was a little rough around the edges – the lack of significant rainfall in CA left the lake at half of the normal level and the drains would back up occasionally in the hot house (read: shower and hot tub room) but the relaxed atmosphere and a well-equipped dungeon more than made up for these small things.
